New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- At SEMICON India 2025 in New Delhi, industry leaders emphasised that the nation's semiconductor ambitions hinge critically on strong government backing and collaborative efforts.

Naveen Yanduru, CEO of Axiro Semiconductor, expressed enthusiasm for the "Made in India" semiconductor initiative.

While acknowledging early progress in manufacturing and packaging via OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) and foundries, he highlighted the need to nurture and build the entire semiconductor ecosystem to sustain growth for the long term.
