Gangtok, April 5 -- Sikkim Entrepreneurship & Economic Development Cell (SEED C) has joined hands with State Bank of India (SBI) and the State Bank of Sikkim to provide loans to entrepreneurs.

Raj Lama, Chief Coordinator SEED Cell, Prabhaker Sahu Deputy GM, SBI and Phurba Wangdi, MD, State Bank of Sikkim signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the presence of Chief Minister PS Tamang.

Explaining the objective of the pact, CM Tamang assured that the state government will provide handholding if any help is required.

It is hoped that the Cell will act as a medium, a mediator for the entrepreneurs, he added.
