Patna, Oct. 3 -- Prime Minister Modi is set to announce a series of youth-oriented initiatives worth over Rs 62,000 crore on October 4 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The programmes, focused on strengthening education, skilling, and entrepreneurship, will be implemented across the country with particular emphasis on Bihar.

A key announcement will be the launch of PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs), a centrally sponsored scheme with an investment of Rs 60,000 crore.

The initiative will upgrade 1,000 Government ITIs through a hub-and-spoke model, comprising 200 hub ITIs linked with 800 spoke ITIs.
