New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- The Cabinet has approved a new scheme on Capacity Building and Human Resource Development.
Under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research / Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR/CSIR), with a total outlay of Rs 2,277.397 crore for the Fifteenth Finance Commission cycle (2021-22 to 2025-26).
The decision aims to strengthen India's research ecosystem by expanding opportunities for young researchers and supporting institutions engaged in science and technology development.
Implemented by CSIR, the scheme will cover R&D institutions, national laboratories, universities, Institutes of National Importance, and Institutes of Eminence.
