Jaipur, Sept. 26 -- Prime Minister Modi on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works worth over Rs 1,22,100 crore in Banswara, Rajasthan.
The projects span key sectors including energy, water resources, transport, health, and employment.
A major highlight was the launch of power sector initiatives exceeding Rs 90,000 crore across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
These include the Rs 42,000 crore Mahi Banswara Atomic Power Project, which will house four indigenous 700 MW Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors, forming part of India's 'fleet mode' nuclear expansion.
