New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Rolls-Royce announced plans on Monday to double its supply chain sourcing from India within the next five years, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the South Asian nation.

The aerospace giant aims to increase procurement of complex components for its advanced aerospace engines, naval propulsion systems, diesel engines, and gas turbine engines, strengthening its position in India's defence sector.

The company currently sources high-precision parts and engine components for its civil aerospace, defence, and power systems businesses from various Indian partners, though specific financial details of these arrangements remain undisclosed.
