Patna, Feb. 5 -- The Bihar government has outlined an ambitious vision to enhance its export capabilities, with Divisional Commissioner Manish Kumar announcing plans to transform several districts into major export hubs.

During a specialised workshop on e-commerce exports held in Darbhanga, Kumar emphasised the strategic importance of developing Madhubani, Jhanjharpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur, and Dalsingsarai as key centers for export activities.

The state has demonstrated significant progress in its export performance, with figures rising from Rs 5,781 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 16,645 crore in 2023-24, marking a substantial increase of 187 percent.
