Jaipur, Jan. 12 -- The Rajasthan government has announced a tender for setting up 2,450 MW of solar power capacity along with 6,400 MWh of battery energy storage, marking the largest integrated solar-plus-storage project in the country.

Issued by the state-owned Rajasthan Solarpark Development Company Ltd (RSDCL), the project will be developed at the Pugal Solar Park in Bikaner. The initiative aims to ensure reliable power supply during peak evening demand hours, reported The Times of India.
