New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- The Union Ministry of Power has recently introduced the 'Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries and Establishments' (ADEETIE) scheme, with a government allocation of Rs 1,000 crore.
As part of the initiative, West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh has been selected for the scheme's broader implementation, while both East and West Godavari districts have been identified for focused participation in the glass-refractory sector.
Spearheaded by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), the scheme is expected to catalyse investments exceeding Rs 9,000 crore through a combination of government support and industry participation.
