New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and senior representatives from the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) will inaugurate a dedicated EFTA Desk at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on February 10, 2025.
The establishment of this desk follows the signing of the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) on March 10, 2024, and aligns with Chapter 7 of the agreement.
The initiative aims to strengthen economic ties between India and the four EFTA member states-Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
