New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the National Conference of Trade Leaders, emphasising the government's commitment to strengthening the ease of doing business and improving worker welfare.
Goyal highlighted recent measures undertaken to simplify business processes, including the Jan Vishvas Bill, which aims to reduce compliance burdens and streamline procedures.
Responding to suggestions on the concept of "One Nation, One License," he proposed that states such as Delhi and Maharashtra could pilot a unified online portal integrating state and municipal trade licences.
