New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- The Government of India has rolled out several initiatives to digitally empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with special focus on Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) entrepreneurs.

Under the National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) Scheme, SC/ST-owned MSEs can receive reimbursement of up to 80 per cent of annual membership or subscription fees (up to Rs 25,000) on government-supported e-commerce portals.

The impact of these initiatives is visible. As of 15 August 2025, 59,390 SC/ST MSMEs have been onboarded on GeM, 24,970 SC/ST MSMEs have registered on the MSME Global Mart, and 304 SC/ST MSMEs have joined the MSME TEAM platform.
