New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- Responding to a question in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Shobha Karandlaje provided an update on the implementation of programmes supporting women entrepreneurs under the 'Udyam Sakhi' initiative, along with broader efforts to strengthen women-led enterprise development across the country.
Status of the Udyam Sakhi Initiative
According to the Minister, the Udyam Sakhi portal-launched in 2018 to disseminate information on financial schemes, policies and MSME support programmes-has registered and benefited 4,535 women entrepreneurs nationwide.
