New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- Chinese technology manufacturer OnePlus announced Tuesday that it has entered into a strategic partnership with electronic manufacturing services provider Bhagwati Products to establish local production of premium tablets in India.

The collaboration represents an expansion of OnePlus' manufacturing footprint in the country as part of its broader localisation strategy.

The partnership encompasses the domestic production of OnePlus' primary tablet offerings, including the OnePlus Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad Lite models.

Manufacturing operations will be conducted at Bhagwati Products Ltd's flagship facility located in Greater Noida, according to a company statement released Tuesday.
