New Delhi, June 16 -- NITI Aayog is preparing a comprehensive energy roadmap that will guide India's transition towards clean energy while ensuring the country's growing energy demands are met sustainably.
The roadmap, which will extend until 2070, focuses on decarbonising key sectors such as mobility, power generation, agriculture, cooking, and industry. As India continues to urbanize and industrialize, the need for energy is expected to rise sharply.
To address this, the plan aims to promote large-scale adoption of clean technologies and improve energy efficiency across all sectors.
