New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- Government think-tank NITI Aayog held a meeting with the Japan-India Business Co-operation Committee (JIBCC) of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) to deepen bilateral collaboration in aerospace manufacturing, investment facilitation and business environment reforms.
Growing Aerospace Ecosystem
The meeting was addressed by Arvind Virmani, Member, NITI Aayog. Highlighting India's rapidly expanding aerospace ecosystem, Virmani pointed to the growth of manufacturing clusters in Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra.
He also noted the emergence of over 1,300 Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT)-recognised aerospace enterprises across the country.
