New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- During April-December in FY23, Indias third largest exports destination is the Netherlands right after the US and UAE owing to the jump in shipment of goods such as petroleum products, electronic items, chemicals, and aluminium goods.

In 2022, Indias trade surplus with the Netherlands has also increased to USD 12.3 billion from USD 1.5 billion in 2017.







The European country was Indias fifth largest exports destination in 2021-22 and was on ninth position in 2020-21.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, the Netherlands has taken over major destinations such as the UK, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and Germany.
