Ludhiana, June 24 -- Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have attended a meeting with officials of the administration and highlighted the problems faced by the industries here.
In the meeting, CICU President, Upkar Singh Ahuja apprised the officials that the industries were going through difficult times and required skilled and unskilled manpower.
''There is a shortage of approximately 6 Lac skilled and unskilled manpower. CICU provided data of employees required immediately by Industry like: Mig Welders, Press Man, CNC operator fitters, Painter, Electrician, Tailor, Overlock operator, flat operator etc,'' CICU said in a statement on Tuesday.
