New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- The Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA) has appealed to the Forest, Ecology & Environment Department to revise the notification announcing the hike in the consent fees.

The State Government of Karnataka has increased the consent fee payable by industries and organizations for establishing, expanding or operating, across slabs and across categories of Red, Orange and Green.

KASSIA is of the opinion that this will severely affect the financial condition of the micro and small scale enterprises.
