New Delhi, Feb. 14 -- Micro, Small and Medium Manufacturing units are being promoted across the country, including aspirational and tribal districts such as Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao in Assam through various central and state-level industrial development schemes, Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje said.

In written reply to a question, she said that Ministry of MSME is implementing multiple schemes to address infrastructure, logistics and skill gaps.

These include the Scheme for Promotion of MSMEs in North East Region
