New Delhi, May 10 -- Union Minister for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Narayan Rane will inaugurate the Centre of Excellence for Khadi (CoEK) on May 11 in New Delhi.
The objective of the centre is to design apparel, home furnishing and accessories for people of all generation and creat benchmarked design processes of global standards of quality, design, and merchandising.
In an endeavour to reach out to all the Khadi Institutions a Knowledge Portal to disseminate design directions is under process.
The portal would entail design directions on—colour, silhouettes, weave, surface, textures, prints, closures, size chart and trims and finishes.
