New Delhi, Jan. 23 -- The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released a discussion paper titled "Changes in Methodology of Quarterly GDP Series and Sub-national Accounts" as part of its ongoing process to revise the base year of the National Accounts Statistics.

The paper forms part of a series intended to inform users about proposed methodological changes ahead of the release of the new national accounts series.

The new series of National Accounts Statistics, with FY 2022-23 as the base year, is scheduled to be released on 27 February 2026.
