New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- Citing state level bankers' committee (SLBC) reports, Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje said in Lok Sabha that credit flow for small firms in three districts of Tamil Nadu namely Kanchipuram, Ramanathapuram and Tiruvannamalai witnessed upward trend in financial year 2024-25.
Credit Flow to MSMEs Kanchipuram: Micro enterprises held 29,199 accounts with outstanding credit of Rs 2,265.11 crore. Small enterprises recorded 1,688 accounts worth Rs 2,212.36 crore, and medium enterprises had 332 accounts totaling Rs 883.21 crore. Including other priority sector-linked finance, the district's total MSME credit reached Rs 5,365.53 crore across 31,296 accounts.
