New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is implementing the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) with the objective of positioning India as a global hub for the production, use, and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives.
Under the mission, India's green hydrogen production capacity is projected to reach 5 million metric tonnes per annum by 2030.
In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik stated that multiple measures have been undertaken to reduce the cost of green hydrogen.
