New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on Thursday informed the Lok Sabha about the steps taken over the past five years to promote the adoption of digital technology and infrastructure among MSMEs across India.

In written reply to a question, Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje highlighted that under the broader Digital India programme, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) provides services focusing on Digital Infrastructure as a Utility, Governance and Services on Demand, and the Digital Empowerment of Citizens and MSMEs.
