New Delhi, Nov. 26 -- The progress of the Rs 1,500-crore Incentive Scheme for Critical Mineral Recycling was reviewed by Piyush Goyal, Secretary, Ministry of Mines.

Officials from the Ministry and representatives of the Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research, Development & Design Centre (JNARDDC), Nagpur the Project Management Agency (PMA) for the scheme - participated in the review.

The Ministry noted that a significant number of potential beneficiaries have already registered on the designated application portal.

The scheme, approved by the Union Cabinet on 3 September 2025 and launched on 2 October 2025, forms a core component of the National Critical Mineral Mission.
