Patna, March 4 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced 52 new initiatives in the state budget on Monday, with a significant focus on aviation, agriculture, industry, and education.
Other major areas of development include data computing, migration assistance, and cultural promotion.
The upcoming Purnia airport is set to commence operations within the next three months, while three greenfield airports will be built in Rajgir (Nalanda), Sultanganj (Bhagalpur), and Raxaul (East Champaran).
Additionally, small airports in Bhagalpur, Valmikinagar, Birpur, Madhubani, Munger, Saharsa, and Muzaffarpur will be developed under the Centre's UDAN scheme.
