Mumbai, Nov. 27 -- Pune's public transport network is set for an expansion, with the Union Cabinet approving two new corridors-Line 4 (Kharadi-Hadapsar-Swargate-Khadakwasla) and Line 4A (Nal Stop-Warje-Manik Baug)-under Phase 2 of the Pune Metro Rail Project.
The announcement follows the recent sanction of Line 2A and Line 2B, marking the second major approval under the phase.
Together, Line 4 and 4A will span 31.636 km and include 28 elevated stations, linking key IT hubs, commercial areas, educational institutions and residential neighbourhoods across East, South and West Pune.
