Last date to link PAN with Aadhaar is March 31, 2019

New Delhi, March 20 -- The Income Tax Department has once again urged the income tax assessees to link their PAN (Permanent Account Number) with Aadhaar before March 31, 2019.

The Supreme Court (SC) allowed the linking of PAN with Aadhaar while reading out its verdict on the constitutional validity of Aadhaar.

Link your Aadhaar with PAN today to enjoy seamless Income Tax services online, the Income Tax Department said on Twitter.

This means if PAN is not linked with Aadhaar, the tax return will not be accepted. The due date to link PAN with Aadhaar is March 31, 2019.
