Lucknow, Oct. 29 -- Two Japanese companies - Kyowa Leather Cloth Company of the Toyota Group and Meira Corporation - have applied for 10 acres each from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) to establish manufacturing facilities near the upcoming Noida International Airport.
Together, the proposals represent an estimated investment of around Rs 900 crore, further strengthening the region's position as a preferred destination for Japanese industry.
"Both companies are leaders in their sectors, and their entry into the YEIDA region will not only boost employment but also strengthen our industrial ecosystem," YEIDA CEO R.K. Singh said, according to TOI.
