Ludhiana, Jan. 11 -- The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has opposed the decision of Punjab government to restore disbanded truck unions in State.
S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, J.S Bhogal, publicity Secretary, Honey Sethi, Organizing Secretary and Rajat Gupta, Press Secretary CICU jointly mentioned that CICU strongly oppose and criticize the decision of Punjab Govt. to revive Truck Unions.
It will prove to be detrimental to the growth of Industry, which is already passing through a very critical phase, said CICU in a press release.
They emphasized that this decision will create burden on the industry as transport charges is already very high in the State.
