New Delhi, June 2 -- In a significant move towards sustainable energy, the Indian Biogas Association (IBA) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IndianOil) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop India's bioenergy and bio-hydrogen sectors.

This collaboration aims to harness the strengths of both organizations to bolster the nation's biofuels industry.

Under the agreement, IBA and IndianOil will establish a knowledge center dedicated to bioenergy initiatives. This center will serve as a hub for sharing technology, infrastructure, and skilled resources.

Additionally, the partnership will focus on training programs and capacity-building efforts to support the growth of the biofuels sector.
