New Delhi, Feb. 23 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said quality must define India's manufacturing and export ecosystem, aligning with Prime Minister Modi's 'zero defect, zero effect' vision for Amrit Kaal and Viksit Bharat 2047.
Speaking virtually at the first National Quality Conclave organised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and the Quality Council of India (QCI), Goyal said India's USD 30-35 trillion economy ambition and USD 2 trillion export target - USD 1 trillion each in goods and services within 6-7 years - depend on uncompromising quality standards.
