New Delhi, Nov. 21 -- India's total foodgrain production for 2024-25 has reached an all-time high of 357.73 million tonnes, marking nearly 8 percent growth over last year's 332.30 million tonnes, according to final estimates released by the Ministry of Agriculture.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked farmers for the achievement, noting that foodgrain output has risen by over 106 million tonnes in the past decade, from 251.54 million tonnes in 2015-16 to 357.73 million tonnes this year.
