New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- India's electronics exports have demonstrated robust growth with a 47 percent increase in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025-26 compared to the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year, according to Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

The minister attributed this growth to the success of the Make in India initiative, describing it as 'a sweet success story' in a social media statement. The program has contributed to significant expansion in India's electronics production capabilities over the past decade.
