New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled ambitious plans to strengthen India's toy manufacturing and food processing sectors during her Union Budget 2025 presentation.

The government will implement a comprehensive scheme aimed at establishing India as a global toy manufacturing hub, though specific details of the initiative remain forthcoming.

The Finance Minister also announced the establishment of a National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management in Bihar, marking a substantial investment in the state's agricultural infrastructure.
