New Delhi, Nov. 14 -- India and Canada on Friday reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening economic engagement during the 7th Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment (MDTI), co-chaired by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Canadian Minister Maninder Sidhu.
The meeting marked continued efforts by both sides to renew momentum in bilateral relations and advance a forward-looking trade and investment agenda.
Bilateral trade remained resilient, reaching USD 23.66 billion in 2024, including merchandise trade of USD 8.98 billion, a 10 per cent increase over the previous year.
