New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- In a significant move towards bolstering global mineral cooperation, India and Saudi Arabia have agreed to deepen collaboration in the critical minerals sector.

On Tuesday, India's Minister of Mines, G Kishan Reddy, held high-level discussions with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, to explore investment opportunities and technological partnerships.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the designation of the Geological Survey of India Training Institute (GSITI) as a centre of excellence under the Future Minerals Forum (FMF).
