New Delhi, April 23 -- Saudi Arabia and India have agreed to enhance cooperation in crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas supplies, marking a significant step in their growing energy partnership.

The agreement followed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the kingdom, according to a joint statement issued by the Saudi state news agency on Wednesday.
