New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- India is in the final stages of developing itsCarbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) Mission roadmap, a key initiative to achievenet-zero emissions.
Rajnath Ram, Adviser for Energy, Natural Resources & Environment atNITI Aayog, emphasised the importance of CCUS in meeting climate goals during the3rd Energy Summitof theIndo-American Chamber of Commerce.
The government aims to increase natural gas's share in the energy mix to15% by 2030, requiring consumption to rise to approximately180-200 billion cubic meters.
