Shimla, March 6 -- The Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Commitment (MoC) with Spray Engineering Devices Limited to establish an integrated manufacturing facility worth Rs 1,400 crore in Solan district.
The facility will produce active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), green hydrogen, and 2G ethanol.
According to an official statement, the project will generate employment opportunities for around 1,000 youth in the region. The MoC was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu between Director of Industries Yunus and Spray Engineering Devices Managing Director Vivek Verma.
