Noida, June 10 -- The Greater Noida Authority has implemented stringent restrictions on industrial plot allocation, barring 27 categories of polluting industries from establishing operations within the city.

The prohibited sectors include chemical fertilisers, pan masala manufacturing, paint production, liquor distillation, and petrochemical operations.

This policy enforcement represents a direct response to escalating pollution concerns in the Delhi-National Capital Region.

While these restrictions previously existed within Greater Noida Authority guidelines, officials have announced stricter implementation protocols due to deteriorating air quality conditions.
