New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- The Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare has announced a significant expansion of India's electronic National Agricultural Market (e-NAM) platform, adding 10 new commodities to enhance digital agricultural trading opportunities.

The addition brings the total number of tradable commodities on the platform to 231, marking a substantial increase in the platform's scope and accessibility.

The Directorate of Marketing and Inspection (DMI) developed the new tradable parameters following extensive consultations with stakeholders, including state agencies, traders, and subject matter specialists.
