Chennai, March 17 -- The Union Government has sanctioned Rs 1,112 crore for the establishment of two new Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) in Tamil Nadu, marking a significant advancement in India's electronics manufacturing sector.

This strategic investment aims to enhance local production capabilities and strengthen the state's position in the global electronics supply chain.
