Lucknow, Sept. 9 -- Uttar Pradesh's Livestock and Dairy Development Minister,Dharampal Singh, unveiled a comprehensive plan to accelerate growth in the state's dairy industry during an investor workshop.

The government is preparing to attract large-scale investments throughtax exemptions, financial grants, and business-friendly policies, ensuring that Uttar Pradesh continues to lead India's dairy sector.

Currently, the state produces1,062 lakh liters of milk per day, contributing nearly16% of the country's total production.

Singh emphasised that the initiative will significantly improvefarmers' income, create newemployment opportunities, and contribute to Uttar Pradesh's vision of becoming a$1 trillion economy.
