New Delhi, March 11 -- The Indian government has invited expressions of interest (EoI) for research and development (R&D) projects aimed at developing innovative medical technologies, including drugs and medical devices, to combat communicable and non-communicable diseases.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, falls under the Promotion of Research and Innovation in Pharma MedTech Sector (PRIP) scheme.
