Panaji, March 13 -- Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho has called upon Goa's private sector to play an active role in attracting foreign investors, multinational companies, and manufacturing units to the state, emphasising that the government is prepared to modify existing policies to accommodate multinational corporations.
Addressing members of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Godinho noted that numerous companies are seeking to relocate from volatile markets and establish manufacturing ecosystems in India.
"Investors from all over the world look at India, and while they look at India, why not make them look at Goa? Make these multinationals, make these large industries look at Goa," Godinho stated.
