Lucknow, Feb. 15 -- Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari lauded Uttar Pradesh's developmental progress during the inauguration of two flyovers in Lucknow on Friday, highlighting the state's emergence from its previous 'BIMARU' status under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership.

In his address, Gadkari emphasised the state's significant contribution to India's economic advancement, noting completed road projects worth Rs 1.25 lakh crore, with an additional Rs 1 lakh crore in ongoing construction and a similar amount in planned projects.
