New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- India and the European Union have scheduled their next round of free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations for March 10-14, according to a senior Indian government official.
Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce L Satya Srinivas announced on Monday that the European Commission delegation will arrive in India on February 28, ahead of the formal talks.
In a related development, UK's Minister of State for Trade Policy Douglas Alexander will visit India for a meeting with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on February 24.
This high-level meeting will be followed by the resumption of India-UK free trade negotiations on February 25.
