Mumbai, July 14 -- The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has identified over 300 high-potential export items to the United States and is urging the government to seek tariff reductions for these products.

The move aims to enhance India's export performance amid changing global trade dynamics.

FIEO has shortlisted a total of 408 strategically stable and commercially significant products, which make up more than two-thirds of India's total exports to the US.

These items range across sectors - from frozen shrimps, pharmaceuticals, smartphones, and diamonds to textiles, carpets, footwear, chemicals, and electronic goods.
